@whitelilylettering has hit 1,000 followers on Instagram! It's all thanks to you. I have such an amazing, loyal community of people that follow me and I'm so thrilled that each and every one of you choose to continue viewing my work on a daily basis.
It makes me so happy when people like or comment on my work, and I just love all your DMs! So, if you follow me, or if you're reading this blog post, THANK YOU! Your support means more than you know.
As a celebration of this milestone, I have decided to do an artist feature series on whitelilylettering.com. I've reached out to three of my absolute faves. These three ladies are a huge inspiration to me and to the lettering community we belong to.
So, without further adieu, please join me in welcoming...

Who are you? Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m Stefania, the letterer behind Scriptly Said! I love the arts, crafts, diy projects, stationery, music, home decor, coffee & sweets. I’ve always been creative at heart and have been lettering for almost two years now.
What inspired you to start lettering?
I’ve always enjoyed arts & crafts. One winter, I decided I needed some more “me time” to help me destress. After scrolling through fun quotes & projects on Pinterest and seeing many cute prints in home stores, I thought lettering would be the perfect outlet for me. Learning how to letter allowed me to be creative again. It’s something I can do for myself, to destress, but also something I can share with others. With all of the different styles & mediums, I find lettering to be an awesome way for me to have fun, destress while challenging me to keep learning.
What helps inspire you when you’re not feeling motivated to create?
When I’m not feeling motivated, I try to step back and take a break. After all, this is my stress reliever and I’d like to keep it that way. I go about my daily routine and start to find inspiration everywhere; magazines, song lyrics, quotes from tv shows, [colour] palettes from nature (or even my clothes), scrolling Pinterest or Instagram, etc.
What is your go-to pen, and why?
Definitely the Tombow Fudenosuke (hard tip). You can never go wrong with black and I find it lends itself well to so many different styles. The Fudenosuke gives a beautiful thick downstroke & a wonderfully thin upstroke. I love how long they last. It is a good sturdy pen that is great for beginners to advanced letterers as well as great for those who may have a heavy hand when it comes to lettering.
What makes you unique? Why should people follow you?
I think what makes me unique is that I genuinely love creating and I love helping others. I’m not trying to compete with anyone and I love connecting with everyone. If someone comments on a post or messages me, I respond to everyone and love chatting with them. If someone has a question or needs advice, I love being there to support and uplift them.
What’s your best Instagram tip?
I have two tips. Tip 1: Don’t stress! Instagram can quickly become a game of popularity but it’s really all about posting what you love on your feed and finding others who you want to connect with and see more from to keep you inspired. Tip 2: Engage! Like and comment on others’ posts. Reply to comments on your posts. Respond to genuine direct messages. Don’t be afraid to follow someone, say hi in a comment, compliment their work or even ask for help.
Where can we find you on social media?
